1. Who we are

UnboundIQ Solutions - FZCO, trading as Designhive, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us about anything on this page at privacy@designhive.app.

When you use Designhive to build a site or write documents, the personal data you put in is yours to control and we process it on your instructions. That relationship is set out in our Data Processing Addendum.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, and the password or sign-in code you use.
  • Project data: project names, addresses, brand settings, members and their roles.
  • Content: the pages, documents, pictures, files and data you create or upload, and the prompts you write.
  • Billing data: your plan, credit balance, usage history, and the card details held by our payment provider - we see only the type and last four digits.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and log records of requests to the service.
  • Support data: what you tell us when you contact us.

We do not use cookies to track you across other websites. The cookies we set keep you signed in and keep the product working.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To provide the service, including publishing what you ask us to publish - performance of our contract with you.
  • To take payment and manage credits - performance of our contract.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and investigate problems - our legitimate interests.
  • To improve the product: which features are used and where they fail - our legitimate interests.
  • To send service messages such as trial reminders and receipts - performance of our contract; marketing messages only with your consent, and you can stop them at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax records.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell personal data.

4. AI features

When you use a feature that writes or draws something, the material needed for that request - your prompt, the project’s brand settings, and any files you attach or tag - is sent to the AI provider that runs the model, so it can return a result. We send only what the request needs, and we ask providers not to use what we send to train their models.

5. Who we share it with

  • Hosting and database providers, who store the service's data.
  • AI providers, for the requests described above.
  • Payment providers, to take payment and hold card details.
  • Email providers, to deliver sign-in codes and service messages.
  • Services you choose to connect, such as Slack, and only what that connection needs.
  • Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
  • A buyer or successor, if the business is sold - with notice to you.

Each of these acts on our instructions under a contract, or is a controller in its own right where the law says so.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates and our providers operate in several countries, including the European Economic Area and the United States. Where personal data moves between countries we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, and we make those available on request.

7. How long we keep it

  • Content stays until you delete it or close your account.
  • Deleted items may remain in backups for a short period before they expire.
  • Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Log data is kept for a limited period for security and debugging.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form. You may also withdraw consent where we relied on it.

Write to privacy@designhive.app and we will respond within the period the law allows. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to your data protection authority; in the UAE that is the relevant federal or free-zone authority.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is limited to those who need it, and each project’s data is separated inside the database. No service can promise perfect security, but we will tell you and any regulator, as the law requires, if a breach affects your data.

10. Children

Designhive is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We will update this policy as the product changes, and we will say when it last changed at the top. Material changes are notified by email or in the product before they take effect.
